Soft armour vests/jackets:

Fields Wear uses modern production methods to produce body armour vests of exceptional quality, using highly specialized materials such as Aramid fibre and Polyethylene. All testing are done in accordance with the internationally accepted NIJ 0101.04 standard for the ballistic qualification of these materials.

Soft armour vests/jackets are produced in all available protection levels, from level I to level III-A and are rigorously tested in our ballistic testing laboratory to ensure that only the finest body armour leaves our factory. These items can be made up to the customer’s specifications, or any of our standard styles, in a variety of configurations, in quantities ranging from one unit, to hundreds of thousands, if required.

Fields Wear vests will give its wearers the ultimate in wearing comfort, as well as peace of mind in the knowing that they are wearing some of the best and most thoroughly tested body armour available in the world today!

 

 

Hard armour plates:

The same NIJ 0101.04 standard used in the production of our vests applies to our advanced hard armour plate range. These hard armour plates are constructed from only the finest ceramics, aramids and/or polyethylene materials available today.

Our plates are available in protection levels III as well as IV, are light weight and can be made in all different shapes and sizes, as the customer wishes. As with our soft armour testing, these hard armour plates go through a very strict and demanding quality control process, which includes repeated ballistic evaluation and testing.

Fields Wear’s hard armour plates compliment our soft armour range in order to defeat assault rifle threats of all kinds mentioned in the NIJ standard. It also provides the soldier, security- or police personnel with all day wearing comfort and the best protection possible.
